Hi there! Allison here. I am here on behalf of the store I work at called MJW Collectibles in Lindenwold NJ. I stumbled across here in trying to research some vintage masks and model kits that came into the store recently. I know...nothing about this stuff. I'm just looking for help. Help knowing what we have, what it's worth..and maybe help finding it a home where it'll be appreciated.

I joined about a year ago and started posting approx. 6 months ago, so I should have posted this a while back: but I just wanted to thank everyone for putting together an awesome forum. The members, moderators, everyone is great and it's a lot of fun reading everyone's comments.

If you'll indulge me I'd like to give a counter example so that you'll understand how much I appreciate UMA. I'm a social scientist by trade and I frequent a couple of online forums related to my field of study. They started off as great places to network and exchange ideas. But soon they became filled with internet bullies and trolls. I can't believe how angry people get over the most mundane things. And these guys use very creative vocabulary if you follow me. I find myself spending less time on these forums because I don't like all the negative vibes. The sad part is---I'm starting to lose interest in my own area of specialization because of the negativity. The key is to just ignore or stay off these sites I guess.

Anyhow, sorry for the autobiographical sketch, but just wanted you all to know that I greatly appreciate how civil, fun, and informative UMA is. It's really therapeutic.
