Great picture! And somehow the kids aren't mortified by the cheapness of the rocket ship's cardboard construction.

Collecting! It's what I do!

It says right in the ad that the rocket "seats one kid". Put in two and the walls blow out and you have a space catastrophy!  hmjfym

Those are classics. Wasn't there a build a life-size robot too?

Street Worm

I've seen various versions of this ad for a monster robot where they sen you the plans for a $1.00

I have vague memories of a cardboard robot costume I had, but it didn't look like that one-
and had no 'secret controls'.

Secret fun spot has a bit on the Honor House tank-

I never ordered this because I had been ripped off on monster mail order before, and figured they were just going to tell me to tape some boxes together to make a robot, and I already knew how to do that!

I want to know what the darn thing looks like. I settle for a photocopy of the darn thing. 35 years looking for this and nothing??? One guy who claims he has one is being such a  weird person about it. I think he thinks I am going to make a fortune off the darn thing. I even offered him the marx haunted house as a trade for a copy off his original, but he comes with the excuse he can't find it. The funny thing when he saw the one that I own in Mail Order Mysteries he said hey I got those plans but mine has a kid inside, he did not know I was looking for it. He even knew where he had them at the time. He said it was in his drawer next to his bed... EVeryone I spoke with said at the market said he was a strange kind of guy.

I bought it through Scary Monsters Magazine along with the Flip DVD after it came out in 2004. Check out Flip if you haven't already. It's made for us Monster Kids.
