Those kits were made by Lindberg. I have just the box from the one second from the left and it's called CREEPING CRUSHER.  I believe the one on the far left was the Krimson Terror. Not sure about the other two. A sealed Krimson Terror sold on ebay recently for over 300 bucks! They were smaller than the Aurora monsters, just two pieces you glued together with no base and real hair that was included with the kit.

Yeah, sorry, I meant "Thing In A Bag".  The Lindberg kits are cool.

I believe the links listed above are from Eddie Guevara, an Honor House mail order wannabe.  Listed under the bestsellers link is a Monster Ghost for sale at a whopping $2.75.  I interviewed Mr. Guevara in my fanzine a few years back.  At the time, he did have some original items and I managed to obtain an original 7 Foot Frankenstein and Skeleton from him in trade (it took a good year to actually receive the second half of the Frankenstein poster!!! Yikes!), however I believe he is now offering cheap imitations.  I believe the Frankenstein and Skeleton are now large photocopies of the original vinyl 2 piece posters.  And yes, the Monster Ghost is probably nothing more than a a balloon and string.  Knock yourself out!

Still I can't help but fee a little nostalgic regarding these items that were always listed in the backs of comics and our beloved monster zines!

Very interesting. Thanks for posting this info Rick. At those prices, I would consider purchasing these products no matter what they are. BUT .. do you know if he's trustworthy? Meaning .. does he send out the products? Any bad reviews on the guy other than what you experienced?

Well, I just bought me a Scary Life Size Monster Ghost and a Scary Life Size 7' Tall Monster. Let's see what I end up getting in the mail. House Of Unusual takes PayPal so I thought what the heck. All I'm out is $17.50. I haven't experienced this kind of Post Office anxiety since I was a kid. Whens it coming Mom?

I kind of lost contact with the guy.  He advertised in my fanzine way back when and he always had big ideas that would never go anywhere.   I guess I was frustrated in dealing with him (after the Frankenstein poster deal), so if that tells you anything....

He had turned up on Ebay and always had good feed back (sorry... I no longer have his Seller ID).   Let me know how that pans out for you!!!!

That's the Frankenstein poster I had as a kid which was long gone, however I was able to obtain another one through House of the Unusual (Eddie Guevara).  I also have the Skeleton... both with the glow-in-the-dark eyes.  As a kid, my bedroom was always the guest room.  Friends of the family were always paranoid in that someone was watching them!  Yep... the Honor House Frankenstein and my Aurora Glow Kits!
