Other Voices and Full Circle is not technically a doors album because it is without Jim. But tell me your favorite doors CD?
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Tough choice! Strange Days, Morrison Hotel, or L. A. Woman. Hard to choose, but I went with Strange Days.

Have their albums been remastered, yet?

I'm tempted to go with Morrison Hotel. A classic. But I also have a soft spot in my heart for Soft Parade. It's a particularly vaudeville-ish offering but I find it very unique, and quite satisfying.

Have their box set perception and it has been remastered. Also, i think you can buy them separately remastered.

Morrison Hotel is awesome the whole CD is awesome. One of my favorite songs is Queen of the Highway, and Maggie McGill.
I really don't have a favorite album but there all very good.

The first one, if I had to pick one.

Tough choices, I like them all. I especially like the first one and Morrison Hotel. They are both different musical styles, The Doors being the blueprint for alot of their hits and Morrison Hotel having a more blues filled swagger. I love Roadhouse Blues on that album. "I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer" with the guitar picking away.

Did anybody catch the new documentary on The Doors last night on PBS? I missed it, but the paper had a good write up on it.

Yes I did, & it was certainly worth a look. It reminded me that Morrison was such a tragic figure. It still blows my mind that Morrison, Hendrix, & Joplin, as gifted & influential as they were, died before they were 30.

apologies for my brevity

"When you're Strange" is the name of a Doors Documentary, for which we did some of the post production work on the feature, and the theatrical trailer work.

It has screened at Sundance and a number of festivals over past few years and is in some theatres around the country right now, i believe.

I vote for the first one! But then, I love any music with organ/keyboard solos :)  I really didn't know who The Doors were til the 90s, even though I was born in the 60s. Weird. But when I first realized who I was listening to, I loved the unique sound to their instruments and Morrison's voice. I had heard their songs for 20 years but I didn't really listen to the music or lyrics until that biopic came out. I really should go get some Doors music now.
