Hi Creeper. 
I'm sorry to hear that you are in the same boat as I am.  I'm glad to hear that you are being proactive about it.  As the others have saidyour health comes first.  I'm glad to hear that inspit of not having the pressure garments you are still keeping your legs wrapped.  That will help.  I guess the best advice that I can give right now is don't give up.  Good Luck my friend!

Hey Creeper,
When I finally swallowed my pride and filed for SSD, I was turned down twice, both times after being examined by their doctors (4 of them).  After advice from my stepdad & mom, I hired a lawyer who specialized in SS, etc.  It took 6 of my doctors (3 neurosurgeons among them) and a stack of medical records and a hearing, but I eventually got it.

I've always supplemented my SSD income doing different jobs (freelance art & the gym business), but I have to admit, some of that was "under the table" pay.
