A couple of nights ago I broke a pair of shoelaces. I knotted them together, and Bella thinks they are the best toy, ever!

  Bella looks very happy.  I've noticed cats tend to like things around the house better than store bought toys.  Bet you catch Bella playing with that off and on from now on.

Actually, she plays with it CONSTANTLY! She brings it into the kitchen to play with it while Mom and I are eating. She brings it into our bedrooms, to play with it before we go to bed. Now, in the living room, she still wants to play with her other toys: laserpointer, catnip mouse, etc.

Here's my Yellow Crown Amazon Parrot named Bjourne. She is watching a video of herself in this photo. I've had her since around 1986 and she will probably live beyond my lifetime.
Says "hello", "hello hi", "rock 'n' roll", rickie rock, and "buck-buck-buck" like a chicken, etc...
