LOL!  Actually, Flower, there's a debate over this!  My daughter thinks it's a girl & my wife thinks it's a boy - she/he is very young!  I'm afraid to look that close!  Thanks for the suggestions!

We went to the vet's last night (we go twice a year, taking two cats at a time for their check ups and shots) and the first thing that the vet told me was that she was nursing a ten day old kitten.

I immediately asked her "Does it hurt?"  .. she didn't get the question but the vet tech was rolling on the floor.

The vet will know the sex or at least should know it.

Well, still have the kitten and the damn thing is growing fast!  We've pretty much agreed that it is a she.  Still haven't named her, yet - I usually just call her "Kitty Cat", but I like "Cleo" for some reason.  Anyway, my daughter just snapped these pics - the cat is very dark and has abnormally large paws for such a little creature.

UP!!! My lord those paws ARE big!! But that lil cat is a cutie!    She looks like a healthy, happy cat- that's for sure. You are so lucky to have such a beautiful little pal, and she is lucky to have you! I love the first picture the most- you two look so regal together. And she is just coyly posed like she has you wrapped around her big paw.

I'm still carrying around 20 inchers, I think.  Back in "the day" they were about 21 & a half!  Nowadays, that's my IQ!

Back to the kitty, I must say, watching her & my female Yorkie leaping & 'rassllin' around is a hoot!  They both sneak up on me, too.  I'll be in my monster room, drawing or something at my table while listening to music.  When I get up, there they'll be, the kitten curled up on my boot and the dog wrapped 'round my other one!

It's official: my cat's now a dog! I don't know where he got the money for the species reassignment surgery, but it's happened. My upstairs neighbor has a chihuahua, and when she brought it down earlier tonight, my cat sniffed its butt! I've owned cats and dogs my whole life, but I've never seen that before.
