Opera Ghost

Actually, a good name was a real dilemma when I got him. I just did not know what to name him, then a colleague suggested that I think of something relating to Monsters, as a had Lobby cards on my walls in the virtual office (cube at the time).

I turned around and saw "Karloff" on one for "Bride of Frankenstein" and stayed with that!
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

Wolf Man

Good thing you weren't looking at a Lobby Card of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde eh?  Karloff is a cool name, how does he respond to it?

Oh, it only took a couple of weeks, as I recall. BTW, he just had his 7th Birthday on the 19th. I'll be sharing more photos when I can get the Mrs to forward some to me here at the office

And who will stop them if not me?

I tend to have that effect on everyone Gina. Welcome to the greatest Monster Site on the 'Net. Pull up a tombstone, shuck off that cape, and settle in for a while.

That's like my dog--people fuss over him to the point he expects it. If someone makes eye contact, he'll walk up to them saying "pet me" with his eyes.

Yeah... uh, the Basset Hound definitely causes a fuss... and they know it... and they work it.

Need to locate some Karloff Pictures, but here was his first, at 4 weeks before he arrived from Australia. He is a 15th generation Labradoodle

A real cutie, OG.

Gillman-Fan

I have a four year old French Bulldog named "Sammy Davis Jr. Jr." (he answers to "Junior" for short) . . . but I don't have a recent picture to post.

Tell me about him Gill-man Fan.  We were thinking about a Frenchie next.  I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old (daughters).

Frenchies are Great. I had one for 12 years. His name was Russo.  He died 4 years ago. I am going to get another soon. They are expensive, but the best dog I have ever had. They play a bit,  but mostly just hang out with ya. A lot of personality. Easy to Train, Good with Kids, but kinda just do their own thing. Oh yeah, they do a funny trick, obscene but Hilarious. Gillman you know what I am talking about, right.  ;)

Wolf Man

Ok, finally took some pictures of "Buddy".

Buddy was what we called here in Kuwait a dumpster cat.

The security guards of my building kept telling me about this "black and white" cat.  When I finally got to see him for the first time the guards were kind of abusing him.  They were picking him up by his legs and pulling on him to make him walk with his back legs.  They treated him like some toy, a mere plaything.

I made up my mind that if I got to see him again I would capture him.  A week went by and then one morning as I returned to my building from work he was lying next to the dumpster.  I went over to him and he did not run.  I picked him up and whisked him away to my room.  He got frightened a few times and dug his claws in but I just endured it till I got him in the room.  He doesn't like the elevator.

Anyway, he was so dehydrated he could hardly open his eyes and he had a bad stomach virus.  He most surely would have died and the damn security guards would have done nothing to help him.

I took him to the vet, put him on antibiotics and got him eating and drinking.  As you can see his is a beautiful and very healthy cat.  He is so loving and affectionate.  He is also one of the smartest cats I have ever seen.  He obeys commands, heals and seems to understand what I tell him.  He is just a sweet special cat.

I have his little kitty passport done, all his shots and he has a reservation on the plane with me home.  He will be on my lap the whole way.  Wish us luck because it is a 15 hour flight.
