Are you kidding?  She is more excited to see the durned cat than me.  She will be standing at the end of the jet way and be like "oh hey honey, where is Buddy?"  Which is what she did when I brought Dori home, our first Kuwaiti dumpster cat.  She is like, yeah, seen the hubby enough times where is our new pet.  She loves Dori to death.  I don't think she is "my" cat anymore.  We will see though once I get home.  It will be funny to determine who they end up favoring.

By the way, Caddie is gorgeous.  What a beautiful cat!  I love his colors.

We have a dumpster cat here that I call Rainbow because she has every color a cat can be combine in her fur.  She is a beautiful cat.  She was who I was after before Buddy came along but she only let me pet her once and did not really want any of it.  Then I found Buddy.  It was fortuitous anyway because Rainbow seems healthy and set in her life but Buddy really needed some care and "wanted" someone to love.  Hey, cats actually adopt us right.  We like to "think" we adopt them but not really the case.  They just let us think that.

I have a sign near our door at home that says "Don't let the Cat out, no matter what it tells you."

Charp, that is a sweet looking kitty. Love the coat.

Here's a couple more of our kids.

This is Blueberry. We just call her Blue or Missy Blue. She was a no kill shelter cat that sat for months waiting for a home. She was meant for us. We have had her a year now and she is a real character. With how outgoing she is you'd think she would jump in every lap that comes along. Not. She has only bonded with the wife and I and runs from almost anyone else.
She loves to play fetch with that green ball of hers.

Trying to mooch my lunch.

Just woke up from a nap and wasn't too happy about it.

Here's Big Boy , the bag boy.

Ok Lester, Blueberry really knows how to look cute! She reminds me of a little French can-can dancer  :)  A beautiful coquette and I love kitty in a bag!

Wolf Man

It is a real shame that so many cats and dogs go unwanted and yet end up making such great pets.  My hat is off to you for saving such a beautiful cat.  I hope you get to enjoy her for many years to come.  Big Boy is adorable.  Cats love their bags don't they.

Wife just sent me these, she was putting the groceries away turned around and there she was so my wife went to fetch the camera thinking Dori would have moved or run off to find something else to play with but no, she sat there and posed.

Here was Cal on one of our Christmas cards.  Right out of view is a whole holiday ham that he is staring at.  Only the finest meats and cheeses could coerce him to remain still for a photo with something ridiculous on his head...

Awww, Cute.... I wish my Caddie would let me dress him up and pose with props, but he bites me. And I wonder if there's a whole website devoted to cats in bags? If not, there should be   :)

1)  There SHOULD be a Cats'nBags website
2)  Cal required premium meats and cheeses to be ON SET for any 'shoot'----or it was no dice. ;)

Monster Kid

Wolf Man, that is such a wonderful thing you did!

Wolf Man

Thanks Monster Kid, well, to update on Buddy, he has been a little demon cat today.  All day long while I have been trying to pack he keeps climbing on top of whatever I am packing or climbs in whatever I am packing.  Its like he thinks I will leave him behind.  So I have been telling him all day that he is going with me.  He doesn't listen.

Tomorrow is our big day.  Long flight ahead of us.  He is all tuckered out now from all that demonizing me and laying beside me on the bed.  Being bad is hard work.

He will love our house.  Plenty of places to explore and flights of stairs to climb.  Windows to look out of and see squirrels, birds and turtles.  He is going to be in kitty heaven.  Another Kuwaiti kitty relocated to Virginia.  I wish I could have saved more but I have only gone home twice counting this time and took a cat both times.  I will feed the garage kitties one more time tomorrow and say my goodbyes.  None of them would ever come up to me so I just feed and talk to them.  It was meant to be that I got Buddy because I tried to get one of the other kitties before I found him and they are just happy living in the garage.

Hope you and Buddy have the best flight ever! You are in our thoughts and prayers for your safe return.  :)   If you happen to get stuck in the ATL airport for any reason, message me (hopefully you'll find a computer) and my husband and I will bring you catfood, a gps, or a loaner monster toy to keep you sane.

Wolf Man

Thanks and that is a very nice offer.  We will be landing at DC though and then our short thiry minute hop to Norfolk Va.  In DC I will be stiff and groggy from the flight and have to shuttle Buddy through customs so that is where I need the most "luck" I think.  He is sitting right now in my suitcase still thinking I might leave him.  I woke up this morning and he was sprawled out across my back sleeping on me.  He is terrified that I won't be there.  I just pulled his food and water.  Pains me to do it but he has to get it all out of his system before we fly.  Unfortunately they don't have a litter box lavatory.  Wish they did.  I am donating all his stuff, food and water feeders and litter box to a co-worker who loves cats so she can make good use of them.  My wife has prepared his room at home.  Looks like we will have to sleep in there tomorrow night to keep him company.  I think all will work out.  He will have two days of R&R from the flight before his vet appointment on Monday.

Thanks for the well wishes.  Lets just hope the plane does not tank into the Atlantic Ocean.  They will find little Buddy floating along in his bag probably the only survivor.  Yikes

Earlier today at 3:00 pm, I had to put my best friend Tabitha down.  Cancerous growth started developing on her stomach a couple weeks ago, but the last two days she has been barely able to walk.  Part of me went with her.

My heart goes out to ya pal and I'm truly sorry for your loss. I've been through that several times over the years and it is such a difficult thing to do. There is almost always the 2nd guessing but ya did right by her. She was a beautiful girl.
