I thought Revenge was a fantastic album myself. That record was a re-return to their heavy roots. I dont think there was anything that was as "heavy metal" as Revenge since Creatures Of The Night...and before that the early stuff.

Revenge came out when I was in the 9th grade...at that point I was starting to give up KISS and was a into more thrash and really heavy metal.

I heard Unholy and my KISS passion was reignited.

Revenge is such a Great Lp. I think that album fuel the fire towards the KISS reunion
shows?!? Well, and plus the Worldwide KISS conventions. Revenge has a lot of good songs: Unholy, Domino,
Take it off.....but my favorite is, Spit. Creatures of the Night, is a whole different Lp. Not every song on
Creatures is great. War Machine, I still Love you, and Keep me coming are songs I would pick. Danger
is ok, as is Saint and Sinner. Idk.....I guess every KISS album has hit and miss songs. Baby Driver is my least
favorite song from Rock 'n Roll Over.   Like I said, lots of good songs.....and some really awful songs.

just picked up rock & roll over yesterday. A great album, my favorite songs are "Take Me", "Ladies Room", "Baby Driver" and "Makin Love". Not to mention there well known songs like dr. love. But i've listen to the well known songs to much, people seem to run them to the ground.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

I think that's the case w/Kiss & most  "classic rock" bands. The singles were just to entice one to buy the album, where the meat & potatoes really are. I don't follow current music, but I doubt if the same thing applies today.

From my experience from the last 20 years it goes like this. You buy a punk/rock/any type of metal mag. For your $10 you get the mag and a "bonus" CD or sometimes two compilations from a music company. You like X amount of songs and buy the CDs from these bands. Guess what? The stuff that was on the "freebie" CD is quite often some of the best stuff out by X band. So you just spent $ to buy their crappy stuff. Ok so you got 12 tracks and 3 are GREAT including the one you already have,2 are not bad and the rest suck. You get the point. That is why I spend hours and hours on youtube a couple times a month. It's FREE. And THEN I buy.
