Actually I was busy as usual, and on Sunday I went to a 1940's experience day at a local village.

Tpbm would love a trip on the Orient Express....

Well, I could blame the Mrs, as she was down sick all weekend, so I had Little man 100% which is a little pre-emptive for my acitivities, but I could've done some things, were it not for the hotter temps.

Would Love to do the Orient Express, and often envy LLK's world. I've been to the UK, and altho I'd love the lifestyle, I don't know that I could afford to live in London!

I often envy you lot living over the pond! The grass is always greener as they say! (I forgot to mention that in the village I went to on Sunday there is a 'Talbot Road', how cool is that?)

Won't be overdoing the house for Halloween but was thinking of getting dressed up for the pub and will probably get roped into taking my niece and nephews Halloweening (or trick or treating to you)

Tpbm wishes they would show some classic horror films this Halloween, instead of the modern rubbish....

I think we're spoiled here in the New World, as do have an amazing selection on cable/ dish  of channels to catch classics on.

I would have got a photo OG, but only noticed the road sign as I passed in my car, I'll make a point of taking a snap next time I'm up that way which may be this week as I have a week off work. You see that's the sort of thing that makes me envious - 'Seance at the Magic Castle', and lines like 'going to the Sandiago comic convention this weekend or Monsterpalooza!

But Tpbm always has a really ambitious halloween costume idea but always ends up going with plan B....

Yep- I got a really sparkly elaborate Snow White costume marked down last year from Disneystore, but seeing as I'm the hostess of the party, I'll probably have to go with plan B because the Snow White costume looks like it will knock things over and I'll be drenched in sweat from the sheer volume of fabric!                TPBM- Can't wear masks because of a confinement phobia!
