HAHA,THAT is funny. When my mom(R.I.P) moved out of her house several years ago I had several hidey holes in the floorboards I used to stash my "stashes" in back in the 70s. I left notes in them talking about beware the ghosts,demons etc since I was a dark wild childe and into black magic. I hope the new owners found them and got CREEPED out.

I've only ever picked up a hitchhiker once. It was raining and he was holding a sign for where I was headed so I thought "what the hell" and picked him up. He sat in the passenger seat and when I said hello and tried to engage in small talk he looked at me with a blank expression and told me he appreciated me picking him up but he would prefere not to talk, and then just sat there breathing heavily. We didn't exchange another word until I stopped about 20 minutes later and told him to get the hell out of my car.

Tpbm hates uncomfortable silences with strangers in lifts.
