Tpbm likes to make a mental count of the cost whilst shopping for the weekly groceries, yet the actual cost is always higher.

Actually I'm in my PJ's watching 'Taggart' (Don't know if you know it but it's a gritty detective series set in Glasgow and claims to be the longest ever running murder-series) Its 11:45pm here.

Tpbm likes to watch Columbo, especially on Sunday afternoons. You've seen the episode before and know every wrinkle on Peter Falk's reassuring face like you know the back of your own hand, and yet you watch as for some reason you find the show strangely therapeutic.

Or perhaps not but it has that effect on me.

Can't get enough of history. I've read lots about Vietnam, I think I could hold my own in a quiz on that subject. I'm leaning towards the War of Independence and the Civil war at the moment but it's early days.
Love ancient history...Rome, Carthage and the Punic wars (a movie about Hannibal would be awesome in the right hands).
Just finished reading a book on Genghis Khan which was a cracking read.

Tpbm used to prefere Marvel but now prefers DC.
