My best friend rang me earlier to gloat that he'd bought a ticket for 'Download' (a 3-day annual rock/metal festival in the UK headlined by Metallica!) I'd love to go but I'm skint after spending all my pennies on model kits on ebay (I was not going to be outbid this time!)

Tpbm would one day like to have a kitchen in the style of a 1950s diner like the one's from Happy Days and Back To The Future.

Absolutely into the 50's kitchen look. Unfortunately I priced custom aqua enamel fridges and it would cost me $25 Gs to redo my small 120 sq ft kitchen from top to bottom.

TPBM did not get a raise but was given more work/processes to deal with.

Nope, safely out of the doghouse! The weekend picnic scored some brownie points and last nights trip to the restaurant sealed the deal.
Tpbm hated the board game 'monopoly' as a kid but loved the little metal playing pieces.
