My father, brothers and eldest sister are all metal detectorists, they look on Google earth and find Celtic/Roman/Saxon sites and go 'nighthawking', they earn good money and find some fantastic artifacts but it has become a bit of an obsession with them. The hobby is very competitive with money being involved and there is lots of squabbling but it's a good laugh.They have been shot at by farmers and had their tyres slashed and have lots of stories of their shenanigans.

If Tpbm found a sackfull of cash they'd hand it in....

Yep- on Friday! There was a nitrogenous compound in the veg. drawer- turned out to be old cilantro(shudder) and I had some expired stuff that wasn't right.              TPBM-  Gets angry when people leave stray hair all over the bathroom floor when they fix their hairdos!

My husband and I did some synchronized mowing of the backyard this morning, got my second wind, and went back outside to look at a new wasp nest under my deck and did NOT get stung- Yeah-it was a good day ( and I didn't have to use my AK) haha I don't have one,                           TPBM- would rather rip weeds out by hand than hear the whine of a weed eater!

Hahaha- I wish!  No- I've got gargoyles in the backyard though!             TPBM- Has an exotic garden with tropical flowers where butterfies and birds are abundant........no weeds-  ( holy crap-I do say weed a lot)

eh, a few flowers, roses mainly and have a hummingbird feeder that many humming birds flock to
oh...and plenty of weeds and stickers...

Man, I don't have roses or hummingbirds! I need to import some of those little guys over here. We have big ol' crows and jays, And I have solar powered dragon fly lights I got at Target last year. I need to go get more of those- they change colors and entertain me!                              TPBM- Is jealous of other people's perfectly groomed yards
