I believe I have discovered yet another problem on this message board. After changing my email address, I was logged out of my account, and I received a message saying I would have to confirm my new email before I can log back in. Only problem is, the confirmation email will not send to my mailbox. I am certain I put in the correct address, and even requested that the confirmation email be sent again and again...but still nothing. Please, any ideas on how to fix this? I don't want to be stuck locked out of my account.

No trouble at all Nicole. My pleasure to assist, and sorry for the inconvenience.

BTW, great-looking avatar!

I was also locked out when my addy changed.  I registered under a new name, but it is not my primary e-mail, so I don't check it very often.  Naturally, I would rather use my original ID (monster.man).  Can you help me regain that one...and then, delete the new one?

fmofmpls

Hello clay.sayre. I just switched your account around using your old ID monster.man with your new e-mail addy. I think this was what you were after? Please confirm that this works for you. After your confirmation, I will go forward and delete your new account.

BTW, you may need to use your old monster.man password to gain access to this account.

Where exactly on the site do we upload pics for the Gallery? Or submit a correction? I've searched the forums and the FAQ and can't find any instructions for this... Thanx!

It's in one of those sticky topics in "General Discussion". Here's a link:

aHA! - one place I didn't look - didn't expect it to be in there! Thanx Mike!

Just a thought - wouldn't it make more sense stickied in the main Monster Toys forum? I always think of "General Discussion" forums as anything not having to do with the main topic of the board...

Yes, this time it's true! The e-mail portion of this forum is now operational! This is something we've never had since the creation of this site. You are now able to enjoy notifications. What this means is that when you click on "notify" at any given thread, you will then receive an e-mail stating that someone has posted a new message (or reply) at that thread. This will help folks keep abreast of topics that directly interest them without having to go looking for them at the forum. A convenience for members who wish to keep updated via their e-mail accounts.

Another huge difference will now be how new members gain access to this site. We no longer allow immediate activation. Members have to activate their accounts by clicking on a link that is sent to them at their e-mail address. This will help prevent bots from joining the site just to plug Viagra. This is good news for everyone here except for Max who relies on his Viagra prescriptions.

Here is a pic showing where the "notify" button is.

The Gallery- personal collections or reference photos?

I've stumbled across this forum and was oogling the gallery.. I actually began to salivate! Maybe I'm missing it but I haven't seen any specifics for what is posted there- Are these personal collections or are these photos for reference? I've collected some great photos of toys I had, have or want. Most are from Ebay auctions or estate sales. While they aren't private collectors' photos, I can't remember where exactly they came from either. I know some people are kinda prickly about crediting and sources and such, so I just wanted to ask before sharing..

The gallery is a reference for everyone's educational benefit.  I don't think members are able to post to the gallery, unless something has changed recently.  If you have personal collection photos, it would be better to post them here in the public forum.  If you have something you think should be included in the gallery, it would probably still be a good idea to post it here first.  Then a moderator can add it to the gallery if we don't already have an example of that toy.
