I am the Female Dracula

Only heard the album Hellbilly Deluxe but I love some of the songs. Dragula and Meet the Creeper are probably my favourites

I'm finally going to see Rob Zombie in concert.  I've got a ticket to the Halloween Hootenanny show Oct. 7 at the Family Arena in St. Charles (where I live!)

So, not only will I see Rob, I'll see Alice Cooper, too!  I've never been a big fan of Alice Cooper.  Nothing against him, but I just never got into his music.  But, in preparation for this concert, I bought his greatest hits album, Mascara and Monsters.  So I'll be boning up on his work in the weeks before the show.  There might be a quiz or something, so I have to be ready!

Our fearless leader, Terry Ingram, extolled the virtues of Alice Cooper to me in a phone call recently.  I was trying to sell him on listening to Lady Gaga.  So now I'm listening to Alice.  I think General Terry should take up the challenge and listen to Gaga.

Anyway, I'm excited to finally see Rob live.  I'm a big Zombie fan.  I even like his movies.  I like the whole package.  Rob Zombie is cool.

My wife and I dig Rob too. Hopefully we get to see him soon? Still waiting

I am a big fan of both WZ and RZ. I had heard several WZ songs before and thought they were pretty good, but when the US trailer for Godzilla 2000 came out they used Rob's song Super Beast (a very appropriate song for the King of the Monsters) which I thought was great and was surprised when I hunted it down to find it was a now solo Rob Z! I also like Rob's movies, though I haven't seen H2 yet. I liked his Halloween remake because of the expanded backstory and psychological insight to young Michael, after he was an adult I thought it lost it's impact.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Rob Zombie has always has an interesting take on all his projects.
I feel that his mind is filled with so many images and information, through
out his life. That when he does come out with a project, it's a hit or a miss.
R.Zombie is one of us. A product of the Television babysitter. He is very lucky
and fortunate to execute his ideas.

Love rob zombie and white zombie. What amazes me is how soft spoken he is offstage.

I stopped paying attention to Rob after White Zombie broke up. He seemed less like a musician and more like a cartoon.

Now, Sean Yseult - THERE'S a musician that should be followed. Her surf band was good and Rock City Morgue even better!

I hear so many people say Rob Zombie was cool back when he was in White Zombie, but now he sux.  I don't get this attitude.  White Zombie was cool because of Rob Zombie, not the other way around.  I like WZ, but I like Rob's solo stuff more.  I have the "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" set, and I can't even stand to listen to the early "noise rock" WZ stuff.  It gives me a headache.  I've tried.  I can't do it.  I can stomach "Skin" onward, and I really like the "God of Thunder" cover.  But I breathe a sigh of relief once the "La Sexorcisto" songs start.  Whew.

It really comes down to the this. Rob Zombie created W.Z., NOT Sean Yseult. Yes, she and RoB Z. were the
original combo to start the band, but, Rob was and is the brain-child. Rob Zombie's signature, ideas, blood
is all over W.Z. and his solo stuff.

I'm a big fan of La Sexorsisto and most of what followed (I only like a few songs from 'Educated Horses').  I know what you mean about after White Zombie, Rob seemed less like a musician and more like a cartoon, but I like that about him.  I liked 70s KISS for the same reason; The Misfits too.  To me, the image is part of what I'm buying into.  I love it when a band that I like has an image that I dig!  ;)
