Kolchak: The Night Stalker - had a episode called "The Werewolf" the make-up wasn't that great but the Werewolf was pretty mean.

Then The Ginger Snaps series had some great Werewolf action in them as well.

I remember that one. That was the one where Carl was on the cruise ship, Right?

Ya see, this is the kind of things that really scares me. I'm 50 years old and I can
remember an episode of Night Stalker"from 37 years ago, But I can go to the
grocery store to pick up 3 things without taking a list.

Whats it going to be like when I 80 and my kids come to visit?

"OH hello  I remember you..... Lets see you name is Larry Talbot and that must
be your lovely wife Gwen.

I'm a little surprised that, as SCARIEST WEREWOLVES go,no one seems to consider that William from UNDERWORLD II was quite impressive.  He was visually what I wanted in a werewolf, and the way he slaughtered whole villages, at the same time turning their populations into new armies of undead werewolves, made for a creature that would scare me in real life.

If I was a werewolf, and I'm not saying I am, I'd be MORE concerned about running into Willaim Corvinus than any of the others I can think of.

I have seen many scary werewolf films in my time but i can easilly narrow it down to the 5 best ones
5.American werewold in london. This film was good but it just didnt have the best wolf and it didnt scare me very much which it could have but still an awsome and slightly disturbing movie
4.(it has to be in here not really about a werewolf but still gives the impression early on) Brotherhood of the Wolf. This is an amazing film and the subtlety of the "wolf" over the other plots are brilliant
3.Dog soldiers. of corse this had to make it into the top 3 the general idea of it makes it brilliant and even though it is a horror it still has some good comedy aspects involved aswell
2.No question The Howling. this hasnt got the best plot but this gets my number 2 spot because of the werewolves they are nopt just scary but for how old it is it has the best transformation ever.
1.Finally number 1 my choice for number 1 may be argued against but in mym personal opininon the scariest werewolf of all time is........... The one from the original Ginger Snaps. for me there is no question that it is the scariest thing i have ever seen in a movie and the build up to seeing it for the first time is brilliant. and the last scene in there house couldn't have been made any better. (also it has an average (but scary) transformation)
