To me growing up, one of the younger actresses--hard to believe she passed now at age 80! On DARK SHADOWS, she was Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.  She also played the mad, tragic Miss Havisham in GREAT EXPECTATIONS in 1989 (she was Estella in the '46 version!).

Elegant, kind, quietly passionate, a truly remarkable and unique lady... sad to see her go.

A great and talented actress, and a rare cinematic gem.  A tragic loss.

Both an underrated and underappreciated actress. She made many fine contributions to classic films. Her portrayal of Ophelia in the Olivier "Hamlet" was ofter parodied on "The Addams Family."

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.
