First of all.  Thanks to all our Superior Officers for keeping us up and running.  "Full Marks".  I love this place.

Second of all...we have graphic artists in our group, don't we?  Why don't we design another tee shirt just for us?  A "politically correct one".  What about a black tee with UMA on it.  JUST UMA, in creepy letters that look like melting wax in Dayglow green and yellow. Possibly a few drops of blood here and there.

"UMA" belongs to us, doesn't it?  It's our word.  People who saw it would think we're probably a bunch of Goths, wouldn't they?

We could also put our phrase on the back, if we wished..."we know who we are"...

What thinkest thou?

Yeah but then Uma Thurman's people start griping...  ;)

I think it's a cool idea, Elisabeth.

That's incorrect Mike, I would never let them do that, but send me some money anyways. I need leg extensions.

Elisabeth - I think you have a fabulous idea!  I dig the heck out of the two-sided shirt concept.  Anyone care to post some concept pics of this?  Keep those monsterous wheels turning Elisabeth.  It's great to have you among us!

I respectfully submit one (hastily sketched) idea for the front:

I know there's some character there but I don't know that Universal 'owns' the cape, fur or electrodes, do they?

And I love the simple We Know Who We Are. on the back.

One idea anyway.

Mike, I think you're onto something there.  The furry "M" looks a little funny, though.  How about a bandaged one?  "M" goes with "Mummy."

The "We know who we are" slogan doesn't do much for me.  Has a non-sequitur quality I don't like.  Also has an "X-Files" or "Close Encounters" vibe.

I like the oddness of the phrase but can certainly see your point. I think even a simple Enlist or similar would be cool.

As for bandaged M's, I like that too! I just figured the Big 3 tend to be Frankie, Wolfy and Drac.

Hmmm...

Trail of bandages as an underline, and some bubbles in the b/g ?

I like it Mike C. Very cool.

Maybe the M could have pointed "legs" as in fangs for the werewolf?

I have to agree that the phrase has an X Files quality to it. Maybe a simple "established 2002" on the back?

Either way, I like the idea of our own t shirt.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

You could always just do what you want-just don't publish it.   C:)

Okay, here's a sketch with Ray's neat idea for a Mummy 'M' instead of a Wolfman...

I am working on a much nicer looking Wolfman 'M' though, which won't look fuzzy and weird ... I love the Mummy but I've just always felt Frank, Wolfy and Drac were the Big 3 if you only had three spaces to fill, you know?

But this looks very cool too. Maybe the back of the shirt has whatever phrase done up Wolfman style?

So many ideas, so little time. I am seeing UMA done up like Strickfadden electrical gizmos, or with gills in rippling pools... so many ideas.

Any other sketchers out there with time to draw something up?
