Oh man, Jarritos...possibly the sweetest soda ever! Used to get these all the time. I still occasionally pick up an orange one, but hoo boy, is that sweet. Sometimes I can only get through half a bottle. And this from someone who absolutely loves Coke!

I pounded two Limes last night!  Booyah!

I remember my mom used to use these in the really 70's....I would sneak a piece every now and then hoping for a Kraft Caramel taste to come through always to be disappointed.

Probably the fastest I have ever seen the foam disappear in a soda drink. :D

When I was a kid there was a place called Avery's Soda right around the corner from my house- http://www.averysoda.com/
last time I cruised the old neighborhood I was happy to see they were still in operation!  :D

How 'bout Nestle's Quick Shake & Royal Shake-A Pudd'n ?

The food I miss the most were these 'Beer Chaser' crackers made by Educator-

I think they might have become 'Better Cheddars' (as companies changed hands)
but something was lost in the translation~

Haven't had TAB since I was a kid. How is it any different from Diet Coke (I always thought of TAB as a diet Coke)

Since I have the Utmost Respect for our General,  I will gladly try a new can of TAB in his honour.  I can't promise to convert,  but I will try.  Actually, my favourite libation is German mineral water in a 40 year old laboratory beaker.  one of my older brother's first jobs was for a lab supply house, and he got me some VERY Praetorian glassware!

I'm betting their weren't any Pop Shoppes on the east coast because "pop" is more of a midwest thing to my understanding.  Around here, we call it soda.    I'd like to try one of those Space Food Sticks, but I wonder how preserved it would be, even if the package was still sealed.  I also miss Farrell's Ice Cream restaurant.  I used to have a bunch of giant Coke glasses that you would get to keep when you got the big ice cream soda.

I used to like various apple flavored sodas.  More recently there was the apple-flavored slice

Before that, there was Aspen from Pepsi,

I've always wanted to try some Cheerwine, but as you can see it seems unlikely.

I've always been about Coca Cola :)

Recently, my local store has started to carry Mexican Coca Cola. The reason why that is great is because Mexican Coke still uses cane sugar, as compared to the USA Coke that uses corn syrup.

So, Mexican Coke has a more nostalgic taste than the US Coke. They also carry Mexican Orange Fanta with cane sugar and it's the only Orange soda I have tasted that doesn't have an aftertaste these days.

Either way, I limit myself to one 12oz bottle per day if I have it (believe me, if I threw caution to the wind I would guzzle a few bottles at a time) because even though it's the higher quality sugar, it's still sugar and the rest of the time I have water.

Something else I see people dont always know about unless their from here is Stewarts...I remember quite a few of them down the Jersey Shore. What a great place too....root beer, hot dogs and ice cream all served outdoors in the summer time...good stuff. Havent seen any around recently.

I've always loved McDonald's fish fillet sandwich. It's pure seafood bliss.

Ya know, I'm suprised no one has mentioned White Castle yet...who here at some point has not gotten a "10 sack" and a chocolate shake after a night of one too many beers and woke up paying for it the next day?

Um .. yeah, I might be doing that very same thing tonight right after the KISS concert.
