What is this Wolf Man toy?

My wife picked this up today at a thrift store. It's some sort of Wolf Man plush doll. It stands approximately 17" tall. I have no idea what this is or what year it's from? She only paid a $1.69 for it!

Can anybody shed some light on this mysterious plush figure? The head is hard vinyl plastic.

Closed circuit to Packy Paul - she found it at Arc Value Village! Finally I score something at that store without you beating me to it!  ;D

Pretty sure these came out in the 90s for crane machines etc..  There are 2 sizes, a big 16" and a smaller 9".  He came with a tag, but its just a cardboard pumpkin that says trick or treat.    Same head as the Wax candle.

Now that is out of the way, these are  some of my favorite toys.  He has a very cool vintage vibe.

Thanks Jason for the info. I knew I recognized the Wolf Man's head. That's right .. it's the same as the candle. No markings whatsoever. And yes, it's weird and obscure stuff like this that excites me the most. Thanks again!

I found a picture of the tag. Copyright 1998.

I've got one of those, too.  It's a crane machine toy.

Way to go! I did stop there today at about 4:45. You tell her good eye! That's very cool - I like the "Curse" look it has.

Yep, I had a couple of those that I won in the crane machines at Wal-Mart back in the day. I also had three Frankenstein dolls that I won around the same time.

Hey George, any chance you might have a pic of the Frankenstein?

Sadly no, I gave one to Matt Jaycox years ago, and I think the others got sold on eBay. I kinda regret not keeping one for myself. Here's a couple of pics of a Hunchback doll that was part of the same line:

Toy Ranch posted these in another thread awhile back. The Frankenstein had the same basic body without the hump. He had a soft rubbery head and rubbery hands too.

That Hunchback looks more like the Crypt Keeper to me. A Crypt Keeper with a broken plunger stuck to his head, Homer Simpson style.
