I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) - one of my favorites of all time, I watched this on VH1classic and noticed it had alot of scenes I had never seen before. I have the dvd of this and it doesn't have alot of stuff shown on the tv version I saw. I really liked the one I watched on tv. There was lots of cool additional stuff I had never seen. I need to find the dvd that has these in it

I love the whole scene when Spicoli and Jefferson's brother are riding in his car. After they total the car...

"My brother's gonna s***,"
"At least I had good reflexes man"
"My brother's gonna kill us"
"Make up your mind dude, is he gonna s*** or is he gonna kill us"
"First he's gonna s***, then he's gonna kill us"

Funny ass scene man.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             One my favorite films too. Unfortunately, the dvd does not have any deleted or additional scenes. The Vh-1 t.v. version was good, but, also missing more scenes. The film has much, much more. There is a website dedicated to the preservation of Fast Times. Maybe eventually, the movie will be released as a directors cut?

Moguls & Movie Stars - A History of Hollywood (2010) - watched this on tcm, I don't know if you would consider this a tv show but it is a special which talks about and shows clips of tons of films over the years in order of decades like 1930s-1950s for example. It talks about actors and movie studios also. It is shown in hour long parts each. I really enjoyed this, especially the part where they show and talk about 1940s Hollywood and it's films. All parts are great, I highly recommend it. Each part talks about a certain decade, like for example one part is about 1950s films. It's awesome. It also explains and goes over how alot of the film distributions and studios were formed and shows the executives at work and shows the work space and people at work at the studios. Lots of directors talk about how they released films back in the day. Also shows theaters and drive-ins.
