:) "The Changeling" staring Angelina Jolie.  I don't normally watch Jolie films  :-\  but this was very well done  :) and based on a true story.  8) thrhrt

I liked this one as well Don. Any film set in LA gets my attention anyway, but this was a very good movie.

MDG

The Black Camel, a Charlie Chan movie with both Bela and Dwight Frye (who's uncredited, even though he has a fairly major part).

Watched the Fighter - Mark Wahlberg, Amy Adams, Christian Bale

Not a giant fan of Boxing films, but, Amazing characters and acting by Christian and Amy. Mark, as always, was just Mark. I predict an Support Actor Oscar to Bale, and possibly to Adams for this very real look into small town America, thru a snapshot of Lowell Massachusettes. Reminded me much of Harford Co MD, in terms of landscape, structures, people and mentalities.

RedKing

The World Gone Mad 1933. neat crime drama included in the Mill Creek Horror 50 pack even though it has no horror elements whatsoever! Still a good movie though and it does have J Carroll Naish in a big supporting role.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

The Secret Invasion (1964)
The Dirty Dozen (1967)
The Wild Bunch (1969)

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

MDG

A Double Life--great theatre-based noir directed by George Cukor, of all people. Very good script, and apparently the backstage scenes were shot on the old phantom of the Opera set (I'm assuming the Rains version)

"Rollercoaster" (1977)-George Segal tracks an extortioner who's bombing amusement park rides until he collects a cool million to stop.

Nothing extraordinary.......but not bad. 5 bananas.
