Sunday night I had free Starz preview, so I tried to watch something, anything, for free! I had seen most everything offered except a little movie called  Eyes Wide Shut. Oh what a mistake! I do not understand anything I saw, I kept thinking something would wrap up and I would get it. I even went on IMDB to see what others had to say, but everything was over my head. Anyways, I watched it.    Oh, wait, the subject was non-porn.

Herr Vogel

Inherit the Wind (1960) with Spencer Tracy, Fredrick March, Gene Kelly, Dick York, Harry Morgan, Claude Akins and Noah Berry, Jr.

The Road - This was more of a relationship movie between father & son during a post apocalypse time. Not as good as I had hoped.

The 'PUFNSTUF' movie from 1970
Love it! Big fan of Witchiepoo and also Cass Elliot. You have to admit, Freddie the Flute may be the screen's greatest milquetoast, what a fraidy cat!

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

"Mission to Moscow" w/ Walter Huston, a rare WW2 era propaganda feature film to promote good relations with our new Ally, the Soviet Union. Your jaw will drop with all the cloying mutual admiration clicks, and the number of times "let's be frank' is used in a sentence. Perhaps the best part is, the reinvisionment of Joseph Stalin as a stern by well meaning dictator, as if he's now King Moonracer from Rudolph, talking like "Ambassador Davies, when you get back to Washington, please tell your President Roosevelt how my people of the Soviet Union so wish to help you and England fight against the fascism of Hitler and Mussolini." You almost expect him to say, "A Russian is never truly happy unless he's fighting for a good cause."

- Mr. Brooks

Not a horror, but still a creepy portrayal of serial killers. Costner does a great job in this movie.
