OK, now that I have everybody bored to tears - I'll be watching "Lolita" in a few minutes.

I watched Lolita.  That is just about the strangest movie I've seen.  I can't decide whether I like it or not.

Saw "Rollerball" the other night with James Caan. It's OK could have been a lot better. If you just watch the action scenes those are the better parts of the movie.

My wife & I took the kids to see Alvin and the "Chipmunks: The Squeakquel". The Kids enjoyed it. So I guess we got our monies worth then.

I've seen a couple other movies but I can't remember right now. Damn I hate getting old.

Hi Coughcool!
We saw the Chipmunks yesterday with our nieces.  They loved it.  So did my hubby and he doesn't usually like kid movies.

I just love Tommy Boy!

I just got through watching a remake of Psycho.  It's starred Anne Heche and Vince Vaughn.  The script seemed to be the exact same one and the same with everything else.  I think the director must've said, "Do it like Leigh and Perkins but make it much worse".  Even the blood looked like orange paint mixed with red paint.  Not worth watching.

I watched that too. Don't forget William Macy as the detective. I'd say if this was commercial free and you hadn't seen it before it would be worth it. It was not near as menacing. The infamous shower scene was bad. She got stabbed several times yet you didn't see any blood on the knife and yea,no real comparison qualitywise to the classic original.

ChattyLMS

I agree, Wicked.  Even the screech noises when she got stabbed were not as high pitched and they didn't go up my spine the way they are supposed to.

Also!
I got my Humphrey Bogart 4 DVD set.  Here's the cover:

I had to put it up because I think it's very romantic.

Watched "The Egg and I" yesterday on TCM, quite good, and the origin point for the Ma and Pa Kettle films that I loved as a kid.
"Its a Gift" last night, WC Fields at I think about his best. Full of great lines and bits, highly reccomended.  :D  :D  :D  :D

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

ChattyLMS

I should have watched "It's a Gift" last night.  I haven't seen any WC Fields movies.  Next time around.

I remember watching a Ma and Pa Kettle movie and the weather kicked up and we had a tornado warning.  I was terrified.  I was a little afraid of M & P K for awhile which makes no sense but I ended up liking them.  I still don't like tornado warnings.
