I have that book too! I got my copy two years ago on Amazon.

I bought the first appearance of the Bog Beast last year on a visit to a local shop I had not been to in awhile!
The Atlas comics are still pretty cheap, though they are seeing price increases for nice copies (around $5-$10 each in VF or better). Those books were bargain box material for years but now it's hard to find any comics from the '70s in nice condition in the cheap boxes. With new comics costing $4-$5 each I can't imagine selling '70s books in bargain boxes unless they were incomplete or in very low grade.

I see an occasional You Tube "haul" video of a collector claiming he bought stacks of Bronze Age comics in nice condition for 50 cents or even a quarter each recently. There may be some sellers that desperate out there but I sure wouldn't give away books like that. Check eBay and see how many 40 year old comics you can buy for a quarter (after you factor in shipping costs especially).

I like the Atlas-Seaboard comics and have most of them. The Seaboard mags are even better with covers by Jeff Jones, Boris, and Neal Adams. I have all of the mags except for the scarce Gothic Romances.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

One or two shows a year that I get to, there is a vendor there that is selling the Bronze Age stuff for a buck or less. I usually clean them out every time I see it. Last year it was twenty or so issues of Tomb of Dracula for a buck a pop and about forty other issues of Superman, Spiderman, and Batman.

Yesterday here in Wichita I got this beauty at Wichicon at Riverfest.

First Print.

SUPER JEALOUS.

Saw this on the net. If you're not familiar with it (I wasn't), it was a short series from 1939. This was the last issue and the only horror cover. I think these used photos from the movies, with captions.

I love the Phantom Creeps, serial.

So great!! I love the old horror comics! I would love to find a bunch of Tomb of Dracula back issues for $1.00 each.
