But there is a brief description of it on the petition

Man that was hard to read. I just do not understand cruelty to animals. I dont get how people can do something to anything that is capable of emotion and pain, its incredible.

With all we have learned and all the media saturation bringing these people to justice, all the education and everything else that is out there....it makes me think, maybe sometimes you do have fight fire with fire. I really think alot of the people responsible for these things can only learn right and wrong by a boot in the ass!

I'll stop there because I dont want to go in a direction these boards shouldnt take, I signed the petition.

Live by the sword by die the sword. I volunteer my truck for payback. >:( Petition signed.

The Creeper

That is not right!  I signed the petition and I think they need to drag him behind a truck the same as he did to that poor dog!
Long live the UMA!

Petition signed.

I recall a recent story on a similar, but different note: Mountain lions are slim to rare here in IA. One guy made the news here for spotting one, but I was outraged to learn he'd shot it, for no other reason than for a trophy. To the best of my knowledge, the animal wasn't threatening him or his property in any way, yet this "great white hunter" still received his 15min of fame from the local news media.

There was a link down further to a new/another article about Buddy:

If this becomes an eye for an eye, remember this is a human being. So, we must not urge for him to be dragged by the neck, but perhaps he can be dragged more profitably by something else?
Bring cameras !   Just a thought ....  >:D

I signed the petition last night about 10 hrs ago. Since that time to right now it has gone from 4500+ to almost 7300 signatures. The 10,000 goal is a shoe in. I hope the authorities take note and do whats right and send a message, not just for Buddy's sake but to other would be sickos that they can't get away with a slap on the wrist.  u6juu

I signed the pettion and being a Dog lover I hope this guy gets the worst punishment possiable! I just wish I could be there to see it C:)

Wicked Lester

I've been watching the petition every hour. A lady in CO was the 10,000th post wanted and still growing. Hopefully the right people will get a clue on the outrage and give the maggot the full penalty NO parole. Have fun in prison punk. >:D

I would have LOVED to sign the petition, but I'm not giving out my street address to folks I don't even know. I hope this guy gets duly punished for the almost unimaginable cruelty.
We're all here because we're not all there.

I've studied Jack the Ripper and various other famous crimes, but have no desire to re-enact them thus.  There had to be something not quite right to begin with to become obsessed to this degree.  If he is the one committing these killings.

According to the article he wasn't the only one, the Yorkshire Ripper also did it and he offed 13 of them.  Crazy.

Apparently when he appeared before magistrates earlier today he asked to be referred to as 'the crossbow cannibal'. It seems he is relishing the prospect of infamy, a typical trait of the organised serial killer. these losers are complete nihilists. I have sympathy for disorganised killers who suffer from genuine psychosis and mental illness but it sounds like this guy was in it for the thrill. May his victims rest in peace and may he rot in his cell and be forgotten.

Peter Sutcliffe AKA 'the Yorkshire Ripper' murdered at least 13 prostitutes in Yorkshire during the seventies in a 9 year reign of terror. Another organised killer who was married and held a stable job as a lorry driver. Unfortunately psychological profiling was non existent in england at this time and forensics/DNA was in its infancy so the police had to rely on traditional methods to catch him.
One of the founders of psychological profiling, Robert Ressler of the FBI, was actually brought in by the British police to profile the killer and to listen to a taunting tape recording the police had received claiming to be from the Ripper. This tape recording was quickly dismissed by Ressler as a sick prank but his advice was scoffed at and the police concentrated all their enquiries on tracking the sender of the tape. He was eventually caught by pure chance after being stopped in a ruetine check by two Bobbies who discovered his 'murder kit' of sharpened screwdrivers/hammer etc.
He was initially declared sane and sentenced to life in prison but was later controversially declared insane and resides at Broadmoore, a hospital for the criminally insane. He has become a kind of 'celebrity' here in England, the tabloids regularly reporting on his goings on to this day.
