smellslikejustin, my cousin Marvella used to live in Turlock!  She would write to me about the son and daughter in law taking her picnicing along the shores of the American River.  She passed away in 2005.

i was born in Manchester, New Hampshire...we moved to Miami, Florida when i was about six months old so i really consider myself a native Floridian. I lived there for 35 years, then in April 2000 i had to move to Georgia to keep my job. (company down-sizing)...Georgia has been good to us, but i miss Florida every single day.    

Hope to move back there permanently when i retire. Maybe somewhere in North Florida.
