In reverse order to the way you wrote...........the sweetness of  the bread and butter pickles gives a nice counter to the savory flavor of the meatloaf. Dill is next best. Garlic last just because I never tried it on meatloaf, but it sounds good!!

BTW, just got your great Christmas card in the mail an hou8r ago. The pic of LM is PRICELESS!! My mom and some of the family were over and they couldn't get over how cute he is............everybody assumed it was just a pic on a Hallmark card until I yold them it was the son of a friend of mine LOL!!

Christmas noon at my brothers :
     Swiss steak, sweet potato cassarole, broccoli w/ cheese sauce, noodles, chocolate truffles, pepsi.
Christmas night at my sis-in-laws :
    Turkey and dressing, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes w/gravy, cajun rice, pepsi.
Now : sitting here in content agony.  :o

Wife's breakfast special, ham, Bauernfruhstruck, wife's biscuits and gravy, eggs, doughnuts...

Christmas dinner: Turkey, ham, stuffing, wife's homemade bread (sadly, I didn't get to cook much this year, aside from Breakfast foods) , Mexican cornbread, potatoes, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, diet fudge soda, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, coconut cake.. Madd is sleepy.
