 Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds -  Your Funeral, My Trial.......I keep going back to this moody, hauntingly beautiful ballad. Written during Cave's most desperate heroin phase, I can't think of a more honest expression of despair.

   "I am a crooked man, and I walk a crooked mile....
    Your funeral, my trial."

I would have loved hearing Johnny Cash cover this (like he did Cave's "The Mercy Seat").
