I wish! 69 El Camino SS in either deep deep blue or dark purple is my dream car. Back in 2005 I had a chance to buy one in NM super great shape for $12000. With a kick in the head from my wife my practicality kicked in and I spent a bigger chunk of change to buy a brand new 2005 Tacoma P/U 4x4. I still have it today with only 110,000 miles on it. Any engine preferences? Glass pack mufflers or do you prefer Thrush or some other type? Factory rims or do you have a preference for a certain specific brand/kind of mags? Tire preferences?

Would you demand a factory 8-track deck or would an after-market cassette deck suffice?

Hep. Never been much of a mechanic/car nut. The purple color was an added factory special paint job and based on my all time Fave Hot Wheels car. The one shown is a couple shades lighter than my preferred color but I would still take it in a heart beat. I would go with the auto trans. I am a minimal mechanic but a VERY good driver.
