The Time Tunnel

Has anyone ever watched this series, I caught an episode movie of it a few months back on FMC.
Any fans here, that would recommend buying it?

I can only tell you that I think it's a great show. It's an Irwin Allen production, so if you are familiar w/& like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost in Space & Land of the Giants, then you'll certainly enjoy The Time Tunnel.

I'm biased toward 1960's TV though, formative years & all that. The '50's may have been televison's "golden years", but the '60's were the Magic Years!

I remember thinking it was the greatest thing on TV back when it first aired. But, I was eleven at the time.

As I recall, the two heroes bounced back and forth in time, never quite making it back.  There were episodes on the Titanic, at the Alamo on the moon(!)  Nearly every era and/or historical event ended up getting visited by our intrepid heroes.

I haven't seen an episode in years.  Hopefully it would still live up to my memories of it.

Think a 60s version and feel of the series Sliders. I love Sliders. Haven't seen even a rerun of TT in maybe 30 years.
We used to "play" this show on the playground at recess back in the day.

Yep. A great show. Likeable characters, often very strong scripts, and some silly moments. Unmissable!

Time Tunnel was a great show and shows like Sliders and Quantum Leap owe a lot to it. Plus it featured lee meriweather  GGGrrrrrrr!
