Jim Bertges

This was a few years back, but I'm still just as ugly.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

Hey Jim, who's the guy wearing the shirt with your picture on it?

Ugly shmugly - you're a handsome prince of a man for all the great things you do, Jim!  Proud to call you my friend!

<--- Like Monster Bob, I'm in my avatar.
I'm the guy who's not Forrest J Ackerman.

And if Jim Bertges is ugly then so is everyone else, and I'm the freakin' Elephant Man.  ;)

Scary Terry

Here's me holding grandson #2 Tristin, my daughter Elizabeth holding her little brother Kirby and my grandson #1, Dawson.

A more recent shot of Kirby and me. Three months old as of yesterday and growing like a weed -- 25 inches and twenty pounds!

And my lovely wife, Erika and me -- on our honeymoon trip in Bon Aire.

A year or so ago on a trip to Williamsburg.  My son, daughter, wife and me, the slug of the family.

Well, obviously, I'm in my avatar now, a pic taken at the Bandai Museum in Chiba, Japan in February of 2006. But here's another, bigger one taken this past January at the last day of Kimono My House in San Francisco.

I changed the avatar awhile back for this very reason. I find it much easier to relate to and remember people I can see.

After seeing all the good-lookin' folks that's posted pics, I'm feelin' even homelier than ever!

In another thread you mentioned that the kids in your apartment complex think you're a cross between Santa Claus and Frankenstein with a little gorilla thrown in; how could that be 'homely'?  ;D

Oh please..........look at all the folks who posted protesting their homeliness, only to be revealed as cool and attractive. Your inner Monster Glory will certainly shine through!!
