Look for us, I will be wearing my silver Forry pin.  We should have breakfast on Saturday morning in the restaurant.  Sounds like an idea.

Unfortunately I can't make it this year. Money's a little tight right now. You kids have fun.  :)

Hey Gang,
I am planning on attending MONSTERBASH at the end of June to film some more interviews and footage for the MonsterKIDS documentary. Anybody here going?

Hello there!

There is a Monster Bash thread, but it's one page back, because no one posted in it for a few days.  There are a few folks going.

I'll be at the M-Bash this year.  I'm coming out late Thursday.  So I hope to see some of you there.

I've arranged a Fri AM appointment with the local Acupuncturist in Butler to ask questions about her experience setting up an Acupuncture practice.  (I hope to finish my Masters degree in Acupuncture in Maryland by the end of this year and I'm planning for my own business there.)  Ron said it would be OK for me to give her a tour of our lovely festivities - IF she is interested - since she didn't seem to know about Monster Bash!!!! (Yeah, hard for me to believe too!!)  Who know's, maybe next year there will be an Acupuncturist as a vendor.

I hope someone there has that Karloff "Arsenic and Old Lace" DVD for sale I saw mentioned in another forum.  I definitely need one.

Looking forward to being in the Quaker state,

GS
Looks like I'll be missing this Monster Bash! - Maybe in 2016 : (

Maybe I'll see you all at Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Festival.

Counting down the days to Monster Bash...

8 days!

I'd better get my UMA t-shirt washed. ;)

I don't know if Max, Raymond, Terry or anyone mentioned this elsewhere, but just a heads up for folks going to Monster Bash...

The Linda "Meek" Miller art exhibit will be at Monster Bash.

So, if you missed it at WonderFest, you will have another opportunity to see this display at Monster Bash.

Do make sure to stop in and see it during the weekend-- the display features reproductions of her work, and the pictures are just stunning in their detail.

In addition to the beautiful pictures themselves, the exhibit is a touching tribute to a wonderful, warm, one-of-a-kind woman-- a testimony to her life, her work, her intelligence, wit, and her generous spirt-- and her ability to touch the lives of others and leave such a beautiful, unfading handprint on so many hearts here at the UMA.

I helped Max put the Linda Miller display together for Wonderfest and I can tell you, it is a stunning array of our beloved "Meek's" work.  So many people who came to look at it--even up very close to the pictures--thought they were photos, stills from movies!  That's how detailed Linda's black and white work was.  If you are Bash-ing, by all means stop by the exhibit and look, look closely.  You'll be amazed.

One week from today, the Franken-festing commences! :)

The Mrs. and I will be there again this year, our third Bash. We had a great time previously and look very forward to it. Its so close now, I can almost feel it within my grasp. Its about a 7 hour drive up from where we live in Virginia, but a pleasant and beautiful drive.
If you're driving across PA from the east, I want to reccomend the diner in Somerset, has a great meal last year. Not to be too caught up on food, but I also want to reccomend the delightful Country Kitchen on Rt 8 S, heading back towards Cranberry/Pittsburgh. We ate there for lunch and its maybe 5-10 minutes from the Bash. Great home cooking, great prices.
If you're new to the Bash area, as we were two years ago, you are within a 1/2 hour of the famous cemetery from the opening scenes from Night of the Living Dead. Many of the "Zombies" at the show can give you directions.
This is a great show and I very much appreciate the efforts to make this family friendly without ever been condescending or 110% fun for the adult fan.

I will HAVE to visit the Graveyard from NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Does it still look the same? How do you get there? I would love an early morning photo shoot with a fog rolling in. I can't wait!

I believe that I read on Kyra Schon's website that the cemetary is relatively easy to find, but that the farmhouse is long gone and the location is now a sod farm.
