Dime store/gumball machine rubber monsters?

Thanks! There are a couple of these that aren't true "Uglies" (in the context of being part of the original set  based directly on the Ugly stickers) but I like anyway! The blueish one you mentioned, do you mean the 8-legged thing on the front row? My understanding of that one is he was not actually based on any of the Ugly stickers like the other creatures, but was originally sold alongside them, at least one carded set I have seen has him grouped with several actual Uglies. Folks seem to call him "Moon Bug", the Ugly with no sticker!
The folks on the Rubber Ugly Forum (http://rubberuglies.proboards.com/index.cgi?) are much more informed than I on this stuff!

I have landed on Planet Ugly. The oxygen levels are low, but breathable. I am testing soil samples now. I think the planet is capable of supporting UMA life forms.

I don't know how I missed this thread its first time around. I have a shoebox full of those characters stuck away somewhere in the basement. I never gave much thought to them, but I really enjoyed playing with them as a kid. it was kind of like a low rent Hamilton Invaders, pitting the Uglies against my toy soldiers...

of the "few" things I kept those rubber monster creations are so special to me. Our MINION made some great newer versions of the thing maker toys for me.
