Worked today 7:30-4

Got changed at work and got to the gym at 4:30.

Have been doing different stuff lately, really trying to get my cardio up.

I ran my 1st mile in 11 min flat.

I ran my 2nd mile in 9 min and 17 seconds and held 7 mph for the most part.

Not bad for a stocky guy with flat feet!

Did a chest and ab/core workout...stretched and oogled a cougar that without a doubt is on to me!

Now, laying in bed after my shower with a laptop on my chest, procrastinating the trip to the grocery store.

I didn't see the humor either. WHERE'S MY  %$^&#  FROSTY?!?!?

I wish i could give all UMAers free food because friends give friends free food. But, i got the job, i am excited. But i am bummed out because it will knock me out of going to king's island with the family because i have to work on that day. I can't request it off because you have to have a doctor's execuse.  >:(
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

I just put my 6 year old to bed.  She lost her 1st tooth today.  It's under her pillow with a note to the tooth fairy.  It was a good day.  Yesterday we went to a AA baseball game and she won the musical chairs game in between innings.  That was a good day, too.

I believe that Doctor Teufel Geist is a proctologist. At least his posts lend me to believe that. Maybe he could write you a note?
We're all here because we're not all there.

I was trapped in the guest room with a stomach virus for the last 2 days because I couldn't make it upstairs. I just enjoyed 3 saltine crackers and some motrin and I feel so happy to be alive!!

Oh my dear that is terrible. Was it really a virus or possibly food poisoning? At any rate keep the fluid intake up and hope you are back to normal soon.

A couple of reports, and posted a long list of movies coming soon, on the UMA

Oh boy, I feel for you Charp! First me, then my husband had the dreaded gut goblin last month! It was saltine crackers and 7-Up for me for two days! Hope you are feeling better now. ;D

Thanks Moonshadow, sorry to hear about your saltine and 7-up gig. It's really sad that no one willingly buys 7-up unless they're sick. haha

Saltines are good.  I'll go with some pretzels, too.  My drink of choice is ginger ale, though.

My Cuz Sara and I decided to "do Cincinnati" recently during the heat and humidity--finding some cool places to spend time.  Last week spent one afternoon at Half-Price Books (of course, bought a couple books!), and another day, went to the Natural History Museum and walked around Tyrannosaurus skulls and Mammoth skeletons, looked at the sad, stuffed remains of one of the last of the Passenger Pigeons, and walked through The Cave and the Ice Age Forest (look out for those saber toothed tigers!).  Then we went to the Cincinnati Historical Museum and walked around IN the 1850s on a paddlewheeler, saw the huge "mini-Cinci" diorama, and had a good time just sightseeing the vast Union Terminal train station that looks like something straight out of a '30s futuristic movie.  Yesterday went to the Art Museum (which has free admittance) and walked among the Egyptian statues and mummy cases and visited a few hundred other ancient (and modern) sculpts and paintings and odds and ends like 400 yr old musical instruments and a Tiffany silver-and-bison-horn loving cup awarded to somebody for something.  Amazing what you can see for free, or for not-too-much money (Nat. Hist. Museum).  Walked my legs off, but had a good time everywhere I went!
