I just about finished the chore of preparing our house for Monday when we're having all the carpet taken up and the hardwood floors refinished. It's like moving without moving. I just finished clearing out all the stuff and cleaning all the dust from the time of Moses.

This might be the first time I've bemoaned about how big my movie collection is. Moving thousands of DVDs, hundreds of CDs, along with hundreds of VHS tapes and a couple hundred laserdiscs still sucking up space, was quite a job. I found all this crazy stuff I forgot I ever had, like lobby cards from "Warlords of Atlantis" and "Arabian Adventure" and posters from movies time has forgotten.

I also got my evil lawn mower tuned up, so you'll know what I'm doing tomorrow--

Sean

Took the unit to Perkins for lunch and the Jackson Premium Outlets to buy shoes.  Buy one get one half off at Sketchers.

monsteraholic

Performed the yearly ritual of the spring yard cleaning.  The first time always takes the longest, but it sure is good to sit back and take a look when all your hard work is complete.
Are we there yet?

Sean

Doing some weeding, pruning and am really psyched to get started officially with my resistance training portion of my fitness program as the Bowflex Revolution is assembled.  Chest and shoulders today!

ChattyLMS

Ate breakfast and plopped myself down right in front of the computer.  I also woke up.

All right, people, it's time. All this week, from Monday April 12 until whenever (at least 5 to 7 days), we're having the carpet of our whole house taken out and the hardwood floors redone, or in the case of a couple of rooms, completely done.

I'm sitting in the garage surrounded by everything I own, and it looks like a hoarders paradise, as I listen to the sounds of the floor being ripped appart. My two dogs are out here with me. We may have to leave the house for a relatives' house or hotel room when the poly(whatever-it's-called) gets put down on the floors.

I'll be passing time by using the computer this week, so I'll be around.

::) My wife has insisted in doing our taxes for the second year in a row. So, now, on April 13th ,she will have gotten them finished!  I've also been looking for someone to share a ride and room to this years Wonderfest.  If you are driving there and will pass N.E. of Indianapolis, maybe you'll give it some thought and not have to pay for the whole trip by yourself.  If it is something you would consider, email me at stouthouse(*at*)hotmail.com

  Hope to hear from someone,

I've been close to bed ridden all day. For 3 weeks now I have had cramps and bloating that could kill an elephant. Actually last night I came close to going to the ER.

Finally, it seemed to pass--but its been on and off for 3 weeks, really putting a damper on things. So I made an appointment for later this week to see a G.I. specialist.

Hope it stays like this all day, its managable and I have an EMS class tonight.

Still managed to clean up, study a bit and walk my dog.

The Talking Tina Thread gave me ideas, so last night me and Karen watched several TZ episodes including Talking Tina one.  Right before bed I placed this Sadie doll on her night stand.  Startled her for a second, then we both laughed.
