Remember, it's not just a hobby, it's an obsession!

Can you imagine if the toy companies put the VooDoo Doll game out nowadays?  It would be taken off the shelves as fast as lightening.

I really like that Voodoo game!
Chatty, just about a year ago i picked up Kabala in an antique store for the grand sum of $11.00! It did not have the cards, but it did have the box. I really like those Trans O Gram glow games - I've also got Green Ghost Game.
Thanks to our buddy Harry Hammock I now have a COMPLETE Barnabas Collins Game!
As a kid I had the Hasbro Frankenstein game as well as the large Frankenstein taerget game - the one with the styrofoam balls.
I've picked up a number of monster related games over the years -  I really like the large graphics. The cover of Milton Bradley's GHOSTS is one of the nicest - a very evocative painting.

I had a really cool KING KONG game from the 60's (not the cartoon version).  It included a Kong cardboard figure whose "footprints" were his spaces.  The other players had their own spaces and had to avoid crossing the big ape's path.  Wow, hadn't thought of that in years.  I'll have to track down an image somewhere.

Wow, finally someone besides me who remembers that Jaws game! Most people I ask about that have no idea what I'm talking about. (Granted, I don't think I ever brought it up here....)

Others I had as a kid were Green Ghost (which I nabbed at an old flea market. I've got the Marx version now) and Monster Mansion. I found a couple of the faces from Monster Mansion at an antique store about a year or so ago and they jogged my memory something fierce. I couldn't remember what they were from for the life of me though and I wasn't gonna pay the $20 each the guy was asking for them either. Glad I didn't since it seems the game isn't that hard to come by or expensive.

Not strictly horror, but one game I had and loved as a kid was the Krull board game. Hey, it's got monsters...

Now, besides the Green Ghost, all I have is the Takara Horror World game, a Tomy "Ghost Ban Ban" (?) monster/yokai game, the Japanese Mech Dracula Coffin Game, the previously mentioned Vampire Game and "The Monster Game".  Oh and the Spanish "Franki" game.

I think if I could have one game that I don't have, I'd want the Karloff game.

The Monster ame is very fun to play .....  i have seen them on ebay every now and then .....  Wow Jaws ... I forgot that one .....   every kid had that one in the 70s .
