Yes, Green Ghost was always a favorite of mine, too...really miss the whole concept of oversized board games like this one , Mouse Trap and Crazy Clock.

The Creeper

I miss them too.  My favorites as a kid was Which Witch, superstition, and the Haunted Mansion game by Disney.
Long live the UMA!

Did anybody else ever make their own board game?  I made several, using the MPC monsters as game pieces!

Hi, everyone! Really been enjoying reading this thread. With the mentions of Ideal's "The Game of Jaws," I felt it necessary to toss out a bit of news. Well, maybe news. Anyway, I dined at a Cracker Barrel recently (in Georgia, I think) and they had the Jaws game there for sale in the general store section. Not in the original licensed packaging, and not named Jaws, but it was the exact same game! Same mold for the shark, same pieces.

I realize this might not be of interest to the collector, but perhaps if someone was interested in playing it, one wouldn't have to shell out for the original.

Just a little tidbit for (I hope) new friends!

Thanks Hep...This is in my little backyard studio where i teach guitar. I love surrounding myself with eye candy from my childhood. Gives me something interesting to look at while a student sits there struggling to learn how to hold down a barre chord! Also get a kick out of when a parent comes in for the first time and sees all the stuff i have out there...they instantly revert back to being a kid with comments like ;''COOL...I used to have that when i was a kid!!'' or ''Is this stuff for sale??'

Dr.Terror

I love the poster gameboard of the first Dark Shadows game.   It's almost worth framing and displaying on it's own.
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

The Creeper

I won a I Vant to Bite Your Finger game for 20.77 shipped, but it never showed up.  The guy didn't have a tracking number but refunded my money.  Wish I had the game though, I was so excited thinking I finally got one of my childhood games at a reasonable price.
Long live the UMA!

I have more vintage monster games, but these I have photos of so I will be selling them on eBay, probably Sept. 16 (a Sunday night).  They are also available for private sale.
