This could be in the "Are Toy Shows...?" thread but it's also a neato "Monster Toys and Collectibles". Northland Toy Show this morning at the fairgrounds. (CREEPY JEEPY: Glen and Sharon say Hi!)
I found a nice Cooper Metaluna Mutant mask which I have been wanting, some army men and common little plastic space creatures...then at a table in a basket of kites something caught my eye, and upon further scrutiny this appeared to have "cool potential". They were a dollar apiece. I bought all three of this particular design. I could only go by the tiny picture on the header so imagine my surprise to find this excellent image - (every picture tells a story don't it)

I told her to be thankful she's not one of those children on the kite.
I gave one kite away while still at the show so now I have one open and one rolled up in a package.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the show.  Very nice find on the Ben Cooper Metaluna Mutant mask, and nice 'eagle eye' on snagging the Werewolf Kites.  And who said a dollar doesn't buy much today.  David

That may be one of the coolest dollar items that I have ever seen.  Who is that stranger holding the kite?  She bears a striking resemblance to Clara, but I know Clara is a little girl.

This kit captures the ancient Chinese prophecy of the Great Werewolf.  In 2012, the Great Werewolf will descend from the sky and snatch up all the good little boys and girls.  He will gleefully bite off their heads, then fertilize the earth with their chewed remains.  Then the Great Werwolf will ascend into the Milky Way, not to be seen for another 10,000 years.  So the moral is, boys and girls, be as naughty as you can.  Or spend all of 2012 with your heads coated in stinging hot sauce.  That might keep the Great Werewolf away.
