1st steps in reviving the monsters?  Perhaps.

Trick or Treat Studios posted on their FB page that we should be on the lookout for their products at Halloween Horror Nights this season.  They pictured some current masks, and collector props in the Horror Nights gift shop.

As ya know it's Universal Studios horror attractions show for the holiday.
Maybe, just maybe they are testing the waters and each other, for a hopeful revival of our favorite monsters!

Sir Masksalot

The world always seems a better place while the classic monsters
are in production. I try to make it over to Universal Hollywood
every October and will check around for ToTS product while there.

Yeah...I wouldn't hold my breath on this one, fellas.

As I'm one that always falls into the wanting and wishing game, and now having arrived at my advanced yrs, totally breathless, I don't concur.

Given Uni Studios purchase of Spirit, and announced interest in Halloween retail store properties, that they now need to keep stocked.  TOTS just can't be ignored...I say, gasping lasts breaths.

I stood in Uni Studios Dark Tower myself, and was told that it is the way of doing business, with sue you, sue us, and after let's all work together again on the next creative adventure.

Hope springs eternal, but my fountain seems to run a little on the pessimistic side.

Rumor has it the fellas at ToTS can be a tad disagreeable. We also know Universal can be a bit rough too given the whole mess with Lugosi for years, then Chaney Estates after.

I would love it if they would bury the hatchet (and not in one another's skulls) and do mor Universal Monsters products. There needs to be more of those busts and statues for sure. I ain't holdin' my breath though.

They did sue Universal,  not the other way around.

Someone else will get the license and make stuff.    Spirit had Uni Monster costumes and other NON Tots produced stuff.    Tinsley Tranfers has the mask rights.

Universal owns Spencer's and Spirit Halloween if I'm not mistaken. Why they havent done thir own is a mystery.

As for the topic of convo: ToTS stocks Spirit and Halloween Express, etc. with their mech every year in one way or another. There's overlap, so they can never completely divorce with a shared parenting schedule mandated by the Halloween Judge, lol.

Yeah. I know. They also went pretty hard after the indy mask makers over Myers masks. That's why I said they can be a bit disagreeable. Universal ain't exactly altruistic either, lol. All about the $$$$$$$.

Universal doesn't have an interest in Spirit Halloween? Spencer Spirit Holdings is a private company based in Egg Harbor. So I was wondering where this information was coming from...

Monster Mafia

Yes, Vendi Universal sold off Spencer's to another group in 2003 and Spencer's owns Spirit.

Anton Phibes

Who's on first? lol. So, Universal owns none of them now, or all of them? Or does Disney own them all by now, lol?

Disney owns everything. lol But no, Universal doesn't own Spencer/Spirit. Glad we cleared that up, because I thought I missed something.

MrDark1

Sold in 2003!?  Where in hell was I.
Oh yea, that's me in the corner, holding my breath, the one with that blue hued face.

I just kinda believe that TOTS may yet work with Uni Studios again, and bring us more classic monsters masks, pails, games, decor...I'm dreaming, its what I do.

I'm holding my breath! ...*any one heard anything...*gulp*...*pfft*...anyone...**ack**...*ugh*..waiting...holding..
