The following Star Trek films, paired with corresponding TV series episodes, will be re-released to AMC and Cinemark theaters.

     -  "The Changeling" and Star Trek: The Motion Picture
     -  "Space Seed" and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
     -  "Amok Time" and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
     -  "The City on the Edge Of Forever" and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

In addition, there will be a special commemorative Popcorn Bucket at theaters.  So, get your popcorn without butter, just this once.

Don't know the dates or have a picture of the bucket.

Guess there are 4 variations.  One eBay seller is asking $100 for one - and they come in blind packaging!

It wasn't as easy to pair up an episode with ST III and IV, but they did a good job. III is Spock centered and IV has them going to Earth in the past.

We caught the Fathom event a couple of years ago for the 40th anniversary of Star Trek II and it was surreal to see it in the theater again.
