Step behind the scenes of movie magic and discover the fascinating world of life masks. From Hollywood classics to today's biggest productions, life masks have played a vital role in creating unforgettable characters, stunning special effects, and screen-accurate collectibles.

Join pop culture historian and collector Mike Drake for an engaging presentation exploring the history of life masks in film, how they are made, and the surprising ways they continue to be used today. Through rare photographs, behind-the-scenes stories, and actual life masks available for close examination, attendees will gain a unique look at one of the film industry's most important yet often overlooked artistic traditions.

Whether you're a movie fan, collector, artist, or simply curious about the craft behind cinematic illusions, Life Masks in Cinema offers a rare opportunity to experience the remarkable intersection of art, technology, and filmmaking up close.

Every collection starts with a first piece. One lucky attendee will receive a life mask to take home and begin their own cinematic collection.

Ooooo, I sure hope this exhibit makes it out my way eventually.
The best one I ever saw was at the old MGM Grand Hotel in
Las Vegas, probably all destroyed in their big fire.
