Hello my name is Tad and I have a 45+ year Universal Monsters collection for sale.
I also have bigger cardboard promotional items that will be included with the sale.
I have made a video of my collection - don't mind the crappy music in the background...lol.
Please reach out to me at tadhays(*at*)gmail.com. All these items are in very nice to near mint
condition and come from a smoke-free home. Most of these items have been stored for over
20+ years. Once you email me I can send you the video. Really don't want to sell on eBay and
a collector would make the most sense. Asking price is $7k and that's not high bid eBay prices.
This sale would require you to pick up in person, I will not ship. You will need a large truck with a topper, van or moving truck. The video will show you all. Thanks - Tad

I moved to the for-sale thread to get more notice.

Good luck! It's not easy to sell a large collection to a collector. Easier to a dealer, but they don't pay much.

Send me your video. unifan2001(at)yahoo.com

Thanks Mike. After I posted I realized I needed to move it to Monsters for sale. I was going
to delete the post and repost but couldn't find where to delete it - so thanks for doing that.
I will send you over the video. Any dealer wants to pay only 40% of the value - which I get.
So many FB groups are a bunch on Karens - crap drives me crazy with all their BS rules. All you
have to do is look up the member and verify they have been active and a member for awhile and
you should be good to go. I guess they get way too many scammers!

Sadly, Tad, I can confirm that is the case. I moderate a couple of smaller groups and even then, it's a steady wave. The larger groups, like Vintage Monster Toys and Universal Monsters Collectors... it's a bit nuts. Seems like there's always someone trying to bilk money out of anyone they can.

I'm still stepping through the video, believe it or not. You might consider also taking some still shots. Nothing fancy, just leave everything where it is, start at the left, click a pic, and step to the right (insert the Time Warp here).

Best,

Shannon

Tad, it's more about members following a posted rule than being "Karens".    The actual "Karens"  are the sellers that spend more time arguing the validity of it rather than simply putting a small piece of paper in front of an item and taking a picture.   FB is full of scammers so there can't be exceptions to rules regardless of a sellers reputation.  Rules members agree to when joining the group.
