I was too young to attend Woodstock but her music sure got lots of airplay on Top 40 radio soon afterwards. She seemed like a sweet soul.

I was fortunate to see Melanie and her son Beau in concert back in 2017. The venue was an old theater so the atmosphere was more intimate than a larger venue.  A powerful voice! Thank you Melanie RIP
