I was afraid that would happen.

Anybody know if they're planning to do the Marvel characters? Also, anybody know when the original Hulk costume ( with the Bill Everett inspired drawing) was changed to the Romita Art?
Apologies if this has already been answered.

Pure speculation on my part, but Mego took a few years to add Marvel to the line. We just don't know how the line is really doing, and if it would be going well at the time they would try to add Marvel.
I really want a Spiderman because that was my costume for two years as a kid.

Doh!

Not horror related, but I was able to pick up the Batman by itself at a reasonable price via eBay. I think I'm done collecting these now, as nice as they are. As I recall, I would still need a Spider-Man, Tin Man, and The Fonz to mirror my childhood costumes, Fonz being my last Ben Cooper costume.

Good times.

Hey, if anyone is interested, I did a review of the JAWS Collegeville kid figure on my YT channel. I show some of my boxed monster kids also. Yeah boooyy, check it out!

Doh!

Nice review!

Series 9 is pending. These fantasy ones of modern horror characters are fun, but I think the Leatherface one is too "good." Ideally, it should have a picture of the character on the chest instead of trying to emulate his actual outfit. I'll be passing on this round but happy shopping to those who want 'em!

My local Target has the latest Ben Cooper Kids sets, and these aren't moving like the previous sets did.

I see 3 Wolf Man still on the shelf, I picked up the best MIB one, as the other boxes are slightly indented on the right side as you look on them, as if a weight or something pushed on them.  Not crushing, or creasing, the box, just indenting all the rest.
None of the other figures have this, and still sits on shelf unsold.

I too don't care for these other figures in this line.
After my 60s/70s figures costumes, I think I have all that I remember as a kid, and that are the Uni Monsters variety.
The Mutant version ain't one I care for either, I guess that's what it looked like originally, but I didn't even know what it was suppose to be when I first seen it.

A cool run on these, and a good idea for fun collector figures, hope these continue so everyone can get their fav kid Halloween costume memory.

Thanks! Yeah, I think I'll pass on series 9 too. I found it amazing how may different characters Ben Cooper made costumes of during their decades long run. Neca can go a long way with this line and double up on most of the classic monsters too as there were several versions of them.

Walmart has a Godzilla Ben Cooper kid for 20 bucks. Was the big G ever a real costume kids could buy? I don't remember him.

Thanks for the picture. What year(s) was the costume available? I don't recall seeing it back in the 60's but it must have been out there!

It utilizes Herb Trimpe artwork from the Marvel Comics series, which was mid to late 70's. So after the comic.
