They are all on You Tube.  If you go direct to You Tube are you able to see the videos?  Do a search for "raycastile" or "Coffin Ray" and you should find my page.  All the "In Love With Toys" and Coffin Joe videos are there.  I don't think I saved the Marx toy videos on my page, though.  Are you able to see videos that other people have posted on UMA?

The video above shows the first time Mojica cut his nails.

Raymond - I'm not seeing any of the various videos you have inserted recently.  Seems as though others are.  Is there a link?  Is it youtube?  All I'm seeing is an empty box with your typed message.

Wow, it makes me very happy to hear that everyone enjoyed my portrait. Thank you guys. :D
CreepyJeff, do you have the latest version of flash player installed on your computer? Sometimes having an out of date version can cause youtube videos to not display like that.

"but that 30 large was a charitable donation to a children's fund, and the winner got a piece of horror memorabilia. Personally  I can't think of a better use for $30 000 of loose changes someone had sitting around."

Oh.

Well, forget I said anything!

I'm all for the money going to children's charities! I shoulda paid better attention.

If I had that kind of money to donate, I think I'd do so if they agreed NOT to give me someone's old, yellowed fingernail!

Agreed. But since it isn't just any fingernail, and it's literally a piece of Coffin Joe, that makes it cool and worth owning, unlike other people's fingernails.

Thank you Nicole for joining us!  It is good to see another Coffin Joe disciple in the group!

Hi - I can find them a the youtube site but up until we had the I.E. problems here, I was able to see youtube movie links within each post and just had to hit the play button within the post.  There was an actual video image in the post.  Haven't seen that since the I.E. problems.  And I'm using Firefox right now so not sure what the deal is.  Thanks for the latest Flash download idea.  I'll give that a try.

Best,

I don't think I could get $50,000R for it, but here is my Coffin Joe fingernail, direct from Mojica.

Now before anyone gets too excited about the value of this thing, I must point out that it is made of resin.  It is a genuine, screen-used Coffin Joe nail, no doubt about it.  This nail was glued to Mojica's finger at some point during the production of ENCARNACAO DO DEMONIO.  But it is a prosthetic.  Mojica no longer uses his real nails.  Since 1998, he has used prosthetic nails like this one.  He does continue to keep two of his real nails long, but he cuts the other eight.  I store this valuable artifact in a very special place - my cluttered desk drawer.  I think I've got the Blue Carbuncle in there, too.

This shot is a little blurry but you can see the curve of the nail a little better.  Yes, those are my fingers in the shot.

Prosthetic or not, that's a piece of Coffin Joe history there. I think I already know the answer, but I have to ask anyway- do you have any plans to sell it? ;D

By the way, you've done a fine job replicating the shape of the nails used in the movie. I'm curious to know, how long are you going to let them get?

Thanks for the idea to download the latest flash player.  That did the trick!

I suspected that was the culprit. Good to hear you got it fixed!

No, I won't sell it.  In fact, I want more!  If I return to Brazil, I'm going to try to finagle a complete set of nails!

I don't know how long I'll let them grow.  I suspect I will have to cut them sooner or later.

Darn, I figured you would say that. Though it was worth a shot. But if you do go back, and you happen to acquire any extras that you want to sell, be sure to keep me in mind.

Since I didn't discover Jose Mojica Marins until last October, I feel so left out & behind. It's as if all the cool stuff is gone!  :'(
