I had high hopes for this title when it first appeared. Scheduled as a quarterly
by Fantagraphics in 1991, the second issue didn't show up until a year later.
Sadly, it was the final one. It's also said that the articles within are reprinted
from Famous Monsters but I've never conducted a page-by-page comparison.
Do reply with what you know about Monsterama, thanks.

Yeah, I got them as well and was pretty disappointed.  Not sure if issue 1 was a "reprint" of Famous Monsters # 1 and issue 2 was a "reprint" of Famous Monsters # 2 or not, but the articles are from Early issues of Famous Monsters.  I think they took the articles Ackerman wrote, reformatted them, and changed the layouts and photos used in those early issues.

Sadly, one new photo showed Ackerman not to be a very good sleuth in uncovering the history of the monster movies.  He shows a photo with signature of the guy who shot the test footage from Frankenstein with Bela Lugosi, tho Ackerman didn't remember the guys name, so he just tried to figure it out from his signature - "aul Ivano was said to be Paul Dvano because the "I" in Ivano looked like a "D" to Ackerman

Ackerman also reprinted his idea for a new movie - "Frankenstein From Space".  After reading it I can see why no one ever made it into a movie.
