This picture was posted today over at the Mego Museum:

Does anyone here recognize that Dracula box? I feel like I should know what that is, but it's eluding me. Help save my sanity! ;)

Mix 'N Mold Dracula

Obviously '70s. Don't know who made them. This is the only other "Mix 'N Mold" item I could find. You can see the lettering style is the same.

Yup, Dracula Mix and mold, there was also a Frankenstein and a Wolfman. Not sure of any other monsters.

The only info on the box is  "Catalog Shoppe West hartford, Connecticut 06110"  Cat no. 92 for Drac

Pics of Drac and Frank are in the 70's toy sections. I have a pic of the Wolfman kit, but can't seem to find it at the moment.

Did you just put those there? I swear they weren't there a few hours ago.

I put the Drac on the Yahoo group awhile back.

Wolfman is in the 70's section too, thank goodness. I think I lost the pic I had.

I have all three MIB. I can shoot pics of the Wolf Man box later today. I thought all three of these were already in the Gallery?

Andy, no those are not these.  Those looks to be from the Monster Factory kit.   The mix N Mold Frank's arms are both down. The figure is also about 7" tall.

Andy, I love those.

Look how Dracula is COUNT YORGA with the gay shirt and long sideburns!

I'd love to see the mix and mold figures, as well.

Ah, you are right.  I did some digging and found this info on them:

They are Copycast monsters from the 70's kit.

Ah....I had the Frankenstein mix-n-mold back in the day.  I remember being DISAPPOINTED that the finished cast wasn't more detailed!  "It's...it's all...SMOOTH!  He barely has a face!!"  I painted it anyway, though, and it was fine.
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!
